This model is similar to the royal palm, it is a species of palm whose height, elegance and easy cultivation have
made it one of the most common ornamental trees in the world. It is also the most symbolic of the fields in
Cuba, where it is recognized as the national tree. The specific epithet “regia” comes from the Latin rēgia and
means “royal” (of the King).
